And our long-term main sponsor BB Bank gets an exciting update about the progress of PlayOnside
Partnership with Kavli Trust
Kavli Trust is a Norwegian
foundation functioning as the sole owner of the dairy product company Q-meieriene and other Kavli businesses in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Great Britain.
Profit from these companies, not used to cover operating expenses and business development goes to the Kavli Trust, a trust that awards funds to good causes within humanitarian work, research and culture.
In 2017, Kavli Trust supported 78 project in 20 different countries, and one these projects receiving
the support of Kavli, was PlayOnside.
We are therefore delighted to announce that Kavli Trust and PlayOnside have agreed to extend our collaboration for 2018 and 2019. For PlayOnside the financial support from a significant international donor like Kavli Trust, is of great importance, and we in PlayOnside are very proud and excited that Kavli wants to work together with us for the long term to continue to empower the local communities along the border.
BB Bank and PlayOnside continue to strengthen the relationship.
BB Bank has been a long term sponsor for PlayOnside. Without their unconditional contribution, PlayOnside would not be where we are today. Every summer, we visit the company’s headquarter in Bergen, Norway to tell about what we have been up to the over the last year.
Earlier this year we had Espen Johannesen, the CEO of the company visiting PlayOnside and participate in our football festival in Noh Bo Summer Football Festival. BB Bank‘s commitment to support our program for long term gives PlayOnside a lot of flexibility and sustainability.
