OUR OBJECTIVES
PlayOnside believe that football has a tremendous potential to promote social change.
Through a long term, sustainable and flexible approach, we are bringing playful learning activities
to displaced Burmese migrant children in Thailand.
GENDER EQUALITY
PlayOnside promotes girls’ confidence, self-esteem, and respect through their participation in male-dominated sports. We challenge gender-based stereotypes and prejudice to promote equality in our communities.
SOCIAL INCLUSION
PlayOnside uses football as a powerful tool to bring migrant communities together. We work to build respect and friendship across the communities by combating socio-economic and cultural barriers.
EMPOWERMENT
PlayOnside empowers local communities through capacity-building programs and hires local staff giving them the opportunity to develop their skills within the organization.
